Let's Dance! (Samba Revisited).
By Robert Sprockeels - OTA Webmaster

Samba, the SMB protocol server that allows mainly Microsoft Windows 3.x, '95 and NT to get print- and file-services from a Linux server has evolved a lot since we last presented it almost two years ago. It is now a product that supports thousands of clients, full browsing and can even be used as a Windows login domain server.
Setting up an SMB server using Samba and Linux is very easy, and can be a perfect and cost-effective solution for office environments.

The OTA Linux CD-ROM.
By Gratien D'haese - OTA CDmaster

The Linux SIG of the OTA is a strong supporter of Linux distributions. So far we published the SLS, Slackware and RedHat distributions. It is now time for the newest release of the Debian distribution (ver. 1.3.1). If NASA sends a Debian UNIX system into space, it must be worth to give it to our members! No other distribution installs so smoothly as Debian, and it gives you a choice of what you really want to install.
The presentation will give you an overview of Debian and the installation procedure.
